THREE trailers and two sets of running gear are on display at this stand. A Norskel container carrier designed to accept either 20ft or 30ft long NO containers is shown carrying a 30ft container.

A three-axle, dual-purpose unit having a flat deck equipped with retractable twistlocks for container work is shown fitted with a Northern Ceschi self-steering axle-. This unit is also designed to carry 20ft or 30ft long containers and it has lin. nominal thickness tongued and grooved flooring and a 2ft high headboard. The running gear is mounted on 10-00 20, 16-ply tyres and centre-nave 10-stud wheels.

A dump trailer mounted on single-axle running gear and designed for operation at 24-ton g.v.w. is shown. Of 16 cu.yd. capacity, it is intended for heavy-duty construction work. It employs the Villiers system of tipping about the rear axle and is of all-steel construction.

Two imitized running gears are shown,' one being a three-axle unit wit# the Ceschi self-steering axle and this is a conventional leaf-sprung gear intended for service as tanker running gear. The other unit is a tandem-axled type mounted on Dunlop Pneuride suspension and once again is destined for tanker operation. Both these gears are mounted on a 6in. by 3in. rolledsteel channel frame.
