LOSSES at Renault Vehicules lndustriels are worsening, according to the French Stateowned company's latest financial results.
Compared with the whole of 1983, when RVI lost FFr1.95bn (£1 63m), is lost FFr1.4bn (£117m) in the first half of this year and does not anticipate a return to profitability before 1987.
RVI, which builds Renault and Dodge commercials at its Renault Truck Industries plant at Dunstable, is regarded as a major drain on the finances of the Renault group which lost FFr 3.6bn (£300m) in the first half of this year.
