Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

NEW managing director of Tankfreight, which is a company in the National Services Group, is David Brown.

He was previously operations director of the company and he replaces Clive Beattie whose appointment as group managing director, National Services Group, was recently announced. Mr Brown joined the National Freight Consortium, of which NSG is one of the main groupings, in 1973. For two years he worked for North Eastern BRS (now BRS Northern) until 1975, when he was appointed sales manager of the West Yorkshire area.

In 1976 he moved to Harold Wood and Sons as commercial manger, and when that company was incorporated into Tankfreight a year later he was appointed general manager, Tankfreight, Widnes. From there he progressed to head of operations and then operations director in 1981.
