AA Belgian representative has put a written question to the EEC on this. He wants to know whether the EEC cannot take steps to prevent these road transport disasters. In his written question he contends that there should be regulations to meet such a situation ; or if this is legally impossible the EEC should actively promote harmonization of the necessary legislation. Also the EEC should set up a Community index of drivers permitted to drive heavy or dangerous vehicles. As all the
