rHE percentage of goods traffic on I Britain's roads, representing some 7 per cent. of all mechanical vehicles, now greater than before the war. -sere has been an all-round increase about 20 per cent. in all classes of 'hick since 1950, with the exception

These details, released by the in istry of Transport, were obtained :nn the road traffic census which took ace from August 17-23. The census ts taken at 100 points, 57 of which :re on trunk roads and 43 on Class 1 ads.
