T AST week an application by Mark One 1-1 Transport Ltd., of Rainham, Essex, for three artics of 254 tons and one tipper of 7i tons on a limited B licence was granted by the Metropolitan deputy Licensing Authority, Mr. C. J. Macdonald.
It was contended for the applicant that a case had been made for the haulage of bulk scrap metal on behalf of P. W. Leeman and Cox and Danks Ltd., within 200 miles. But Mr. Macdonald refused to grant conditions for return loads.
