Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

on trial with the Cummins Engine Co. in Western U.S.A. as boosters for the double-bottom-semi plus drawbar trailer combination, common throughout the Americas.

The unit is remotely controlled from the driver's cab, and the Cummins V.6 200 h.p. engine is coupled with a torque converter. It is intended for use only when pulling on gradients, its purpose being twofold—to assist in maintaining fast speeds on gradients and to help overcome the characteristic "spinning out" in snowy or icy conditions, which is a drawback of this type of equipment.

There is an automatic cut-out which shuts down the engine immediately the driver, touches the brake pedal. One powered dolly can be changed from trailer to trailer and is reasonably manhandled by two men.
