MR. D. BoxALL. O.B.E.. became general manager of the Nightingale Engineering Co.. Ltd.. Balham. London. last Monday. Formerly sales manager with Transport Vehicles (Daimler). Ltd.. then export sales manager of Leyland Motors, Ltd., his last position. from which he resigned on March 13, was with Duple Motor Bodies, Ltd.
MR. F. CAMPBELL has been appointed secretary of the National Safety Council of South Australia. Before emigrating to the Dominion last year, he was staff welfare officer and assistant to the general manager of United Automobile Services, Ltd. Previously, he was associated with the Blackpool and Coventry municipal undertakings. He was the founder and secretary of the Darlington and district group of the Institute of Transport.

• MR. G. E. LIARDET, joint managing director of Simms Motor Units, Ltd., has flown to the U.S.A. to study the latest American designs in fuel-injection and electrical equipment. He will also arrange to augment Simms service facilities.
