Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE conversion of a two-axle Bedford KE to six wheels has been carried out by the Primrose Third Axle Co Ltd of Blackburn, Lancashire. It is the first of 14 destined for the Milk Marketing Board's Durham dairy.

The vehicles will be used for bulk deliveries to cold stores and dairy roundsmen's premises, where the low platform will facilitate hand unloading.

A loading platform height of 1.1rn. (31ft) has been achieved and the wheelbase is increased from 3.83m (12ft 7in) to 4.29m (14ft lin) with the addition of a 7.1 tonnes (7 tons) trailing axle. Gross vehicle weight is now 16.3 tonnes (16 tons). Sliding side doors are fitted to the insulated bodywork which was built at MMB's central maintenance depot.

The body is 4.29m (14ft lin) long and 2.48m (8ft liin) wide and features a fixed longitudinal framework down the centre with removable cross-members to hold the milk crates steady. To speed up unloading a 2-tonne (2-ton) tail-lift is fitted at the rear.
