• The International Mechanical Handling Exhibition, sponsored by Mechanical Handling and Materials Handling News will take place at Earls Court from May 5-15 this year.
A one-day conference on storage and distribution systems is being arranged in conjunction with the exhibition and this will take place at Grosvenor House, London, on May 13. The subjects to be discussed are: "Assessing the financial viability of proposed warehouse schemes," "mechanized and automated warehouses," "The role and management of transport in a national distribution system" and "Integrated transport and warehouse systems from factory floor to retailer's shelf".
A number of post-conference technical study tours, designed to show delegates modern warehousing systems in a variety of industries will be held on May 14, 15, and 19.
