J. B. Griffiths has been appointed deputy to Leone Donkin, general manager of Pandora, a member of P & 0 Unit Loads. D. L. Hill becomes marketing and sales manager; J. Crompton field sales manager; and L. R. Donkin operations manager. Peter Schotel, 46, for six years with Intertruck Ltd in commercial vehicle spares

distribution, becomes national accounts manager for fleet operators and stockists.

Chris Jackson, managing director of general haulage contractor, Edwards of Hull Ltd, has been given the additional responsibilities of the group distribution of IdealStandard Ltd, the heating and bathroom furniture manufacturer. Geoffrey Edwards remains chairman of Edwards of Hull and will concentrate on long-term policy aspects of the Edwards' operation and of Ideal-Standard's transportation strategy.

N. R. Wynn is to succeed J. P. Wells as an RNA nominee on the CBI council.

Edward G. Dravers, general manager of United Counties Omnibus Co Ltd, becomes general manager of Crosville Motor Services Ltd, an NBC subsidiary, on February 1.

William H. Jelpke, 42, general manager of Cumberland Motor Services Ltd, becomes general manager of Potteries Motor Traction Co Ltd, an NBC subsidiary, on January 1.

Philip J. Harmer, 40, becomes general manager of South Wales Transport Co Ltd, an NBC subsidiary, on March 1. He is at present secretary of Southdown Motor Services Ltd.

Malcolm M. Lyon, 33, has joined Seddon Atkinson Vehicles as South of England sales manager. He was previously with Vauxhall. Ian Maclean, 40, from RollsRoyce Diesel Division, becomes sales manager for the Border counties, Scotland and Northern Ireland. John H. V. Bradley, 29, has been promoted from marketing services manager to sales manager for the North Midlands, North Wales, Lancs and Yorks.

Paul Addenbroke, previously Leicester manager with Midland Red, has been appointed

principal planning officer of the West Midlands PTE.

Andrew Allison, now assistant operations manager (development) in the PTE's South Division, was previously commercial manager with London Country Bus Services at Reigate. Other recent PTE appointments: Geoffrey Lusher, assistant operations manager (development) North Division, from operating manager with Maidstone and District; Philip Haywood, field sur vey officer, from Documentary Research, Bristol, where he was transportation research manager; and Patrick Neale, fares and charges officer, from traffic auditor with London Country Bus.

Clive Preddy, who joined the Fiat Commercial Vehicle Division as service engineer, southern counties, from AEC in the Midlands in January, 1974, has been appointed field service manager.

Les Reeves has been promoted customer service manager for Tr-Wall Containers Ltd; and he is succeeded as area customer service manager by Peter Creasey, previously a sales engineer. Stan Goddard has been appointed general manager of Dee Jay Commercial Bodies Ltd, of Tipton. Mr Goddard was formerly general manager of W. H. Goddard Ltd, of Leicester.

Ken Firth has been appointed assistant director of the National Materials Handling Centre. Firth joined the Centre four years ago as manager of the advisory service unit.

Charles H. Lennon, 54, became regional chief engineer of the Eastern region of National Bus Company this month. He was previously chief engineer of United Automobile Services Ltd.

E. G. F. Brown, who has joined Midlands BRS from the National Freight Corporation, has been appointed personnel manager.
