THE Yorkshire Licensing Authority has granted C. H. Pickles, Ltd., wholesale newsagent. permission to operate pooled newspaper-carrying services with other wholesale newsagents. a system which was stated to have
worked well during the war. .
Generally, operation is on a radius basis from various Yorkshire centres, but provision has been made whereby, in emergencies, the vans may go beyona their specified districts.
