as chairman and chief executive of the Russell Davies Group on 1 September. He succeeds his father Ron G Davies, who is standing down from the post of chairman at the age of 71.
Ron Davies is a founder director of Russell Davies, together with his brother-inlaw Glyn Davies.
Before setting up Russell Davies, Ron held a variety of positions in the road transport industry, including a spell as general manager of Lovells Shipping & Transport.
