P&O NORMANDY Ferries' new service between Dover and Boulogne has already captured 81 per cent of the freight traffic on that run, according to a P&O spokesman.
In June, the second month of operation, P&O carried 776 road haulage vehicles, against 183 vehicles carried by their competitors. In addition, the company transported 26 per cent of the total ferry passenger traffic and gained a 36 per
cent share of the ferry car traffic.
