• Politics and industrial relations will both figure prominently in the annual conference of the Association of Public Passenger Transport Operators in Blackpool from September 20 to 24 this year.
On September 22 Ald T.A. Harris, chairman of Leicester City transport committee. will present a paper entitled: "Public transport and politics—should they be mixed? Must they be mixed?" On the next day Mr Leslie Huckfield. MP, will give a paper under the title: "Industrial relations a concept for the future".
