The Working Time (Amendment) Regulations 2006, CIF 6 April 2006 These regulations will remove a confusing and contentious exemption from some of the main working time rules governing non-mobile workers.
The Road Traffic (NHS Charges) Amendment Regulations 2006, CIF 1 April 2006 These regulations increase charges to Insurers and others for the treatment of read casualties.
The Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) (Amendment) Regulations 2006, CIF 1 April 2006 and 1July 2007 These amendment regulations confirm that a qualified driver who supervises a learner must have held the relevant licence for at least three years; specifies what can be taken as the 'relevant licence'; and requires certain test vehicles to be fitted with a seat belt and adequate mirrors for the examiner.
The Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005, 6 April 2006 These regulations implement a European Directive and tighten the noise action levels, which determine when an employer must take action and what action to take to protect employees' health and safety in relation to noise.
