• Hays Interbond, part of Hays Distribution Services, has won two distribution contracts with Gallo and Long John Export and says a third deal with another wines and spirits company is in the pipeline. American wine firm Gallo has asked Hays Interbond to handle storage and distribution in a deal worth more than £500,000 in the first year. Hays will operate the contract, from South Ockendon and Barnsley. The Long John Export deal will be run from Newcastle.
Hays Interbond has won more than 22.5 million in bonded distribution contracts in 1989.
