Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

OPERATORS are determined to make themselves heard on the Noise Regulations issue.

As the TRTA has told the Ministry, they have few reservations about the levels and enforcement.

But (CM, August 18) they consider that the operative date—January 1—is wholly unreasonable. Their choice: Nov. 1, 1969.

Now the TRTA on its own behalf and on behalf of the RHA and BRS—has asked the Ministry to "discuss" the date problem.

Says the TRTA's Mr. John Gutteridge: "We do not think it will be a noisy meeting."
