THE British Transport Commission I has set up a company to "advise coo and accelerate the development of major railway properties." It is to be called Railway Sites, Ltd. Th: board will consist of Maj. Gen. G. N. Russell (its chairman), Mr. H. L. Roy Matthews, Sir Reginald Wilson and Mr. W. S. Barnes. Mr. Barnes, who will be managing director, is the Commission's chief estate and rating surveyor, a post which he will now relinquish.
