IN Fiat has denied an earlier statement that the Unovan is to be dropped from its UK vehicle line-up.
A Fiat spokesman says that since the contraction in the Unovan's market has been offset by expansion in high-cube Fiorino sales, the Unovan will remain on Fiat's price list, but this model will not be actively marketed". This will effectively make the Unovan available to special order only.
Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders figures show that Fiat sold 141 Unovans between January and August this year, compared with 243 Brazilian-built Fiorinos.
