Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Alentec Orion has introduced an oil monitoring system positioned mid-way between its two existing models. The new Oriomatic 3000 system can dispense three grades of oil through up to eight hoses.

To obtain oil from the system the fitter has to enter his personal identification number, and the number of the hose required — thereby selecting the grade on a keypad. Up to four keypads can be connected to the system.

When the delivery is complete the unit will automatically print out a slip with the amount and grade of oil, time, date, job number and the fitter responsible. That oil is automatically deducted from the stock level and, when a pre-determined minimum is reached, a warning will appear on the slips.

Two other products now avail The Oriomatic 3000 can dispense hoses and can monitor stock levels. able from Alentec are Tankalert and a digital display meter, Tankalert can monitor four storage tanks and will give a readout of the level of stock. It is installed via two-inch HSP fittings and is powered by mains electricity. The Digital display meter has 57mm (21/4 inch) high figures showing the amount of oil delivered through a reel. Again power is from a 240v supply.
