Bristol last week, R. W. Baker, (Stonehouse) Ltd., of Gloucester, was successful in a sevenvehicle contract A to B licence switch bid. The vehicles will be used to carry goods for Roads Reconstruction Ltd., E. H. Bradley and Son Ltd., of Swindon, bricks, sand and gravel and goods into and out of licensees' stores at Stonehouse.
The application was opposed by British Railways and several independent road hauliers.
