IN the annual report of the Transport
I the to the Minister of Transport are listed the 72 appeals which the) heard or determined during 1961. OJ these, 22 were heard in Scotland.
At the end of 1960, 34 appeals agains decisions of Licensing Authorities wen pending, of which one was not prosecuted during 1961, 78 new appeals were lodged 10 of which were not prosecuted. 0 the 72 appeals heard or determine( during last year 38 were successful am 34 were dismissed.
In the cases heard during the year, tIN British Transport Commission wer, appellants 11 times (seven of their appeal succeeding) and they were respondents ii no fewer than 31 cases, successfully °I 13 occasions.
