This company specialize in the manufacture of small thrashirig machines, and. they are showing one on their stand in conjunction with an Austin tractor, which is, of course, admirably adapted for driving thrashers as well as for cultivating, harvesting and other field operations. The tractor itself is by now too well known to need description. As a reminder, we may state that it is a four-wheeler, designed, as we have already indicated, for general-purpose work. It is equipped with a four-cylinder engine, two-speed gearbox and geardriven live axle. Engine'ease, geanbox and rear axle are all united to form a substantial frame, and a quick-detachable belt pulley is fitted on the off side.
