Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Orders for 673 buses worth nearly £3m were announced by British Leyland's truck and bus division last month. The largest single order was from the Merseyside PTE for 250 Leyland Atlantean rear-engined double-deckers. Other major orders were from Glasgow (200 Atlantean doubledeck—confirmation of order announced in CM, August 7), and Sheffield (55 Daimler Fleetline double-deckers).

Single-deckers: Hartlepool (seven Bristol RELL) and Lancaster (six Leyland Leopard).
