Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

11 Might I take the opportunity to clarify the apparent confusion arising from your coverage last week of Volvo's £16.5 million parts warehouse and distribution centre to be built at Luttenvorth, Leicestershire.

While Leyland Bus will indeed be responsible for the customer support, marketing and sales of parts for its own products throughout the world, it will not, as implied in your coverage, have as such responsibilities for Volvo's heavy truck parts.

Taking the UK as a case in point, the Parts Division of Volvo Trucks (Great Britain) Limited will continue to be responsible for such activities here.

As with the two existing facilities at Ghent in Belgium and Gothenburg in Sweden, the new Lutterworth facility will be operated by the Volvo Parts Corporation which has overall responsibility for parts warehousing and parts distribution for Volvo automotive products worldwide.

Volvo Trucks (Great Britain) Limited looks forward to the new facility coming on stream. More particularly it looks forward to the opportunities the location of such a centre offers the company in improving further on the high level of service it already provides.

We also welcome the announcement as it provides yet another firm indication of Volvo's still growing commitment — not only to the British • market, but also to Britain. Trevor Longcroft, Press officer Volvo Trucks Warwick.
