Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Robert Wynn and Sons Ltd., of Newport, for hauling its aircushion transporter?

AThis company employs a Pacific tractive

unit and more recently a Scammell Constructor I in multiples to haul its aircushion transporters, the number of units depending on the load, route and 'so on.

The Pacific is virtually a Wynn-produced vehicle incorporating certain major components such as the chassis frame, wheels and suspension of the tractive unit built by the Pacific Truck and Trailer Co. of Canada which was exported to this country before and during the war.

The Wynn unit is powered by a Cummins 250 bhp in-line six-cylinder engine, while the transmission is a Self-Changing Gears electrically-controlled gearbox. Electric control enables ratio changes of all the gearboxes to be synchronized. At least two tractive units are used. In some applications six units are required.
