1ยง,JOTTINGHAM hauliers have introduced

a plan to protect goods carried by road in the city and in the county of Nottinghamshire. From Monday, a Nottingham vehicle observer corps was in operation, run by members of the Nottingham sub-area of the Road Haulage Association. It is hoped in due course that 'other organizations concerned with road transport and with vehicle security in general will add their support to the scheme.

Full co-operation will be given by the city and county police, who have taken an active part in making the necessary arrangements.
