• Reynolds Boughton has supplied 250 RB44 MkII fourwheel-drive trucks to the Army as part of its Truck Utility Heavy (TUH) programme. The total order is for 846. The turbocharged Perkins Phaserpowered RB44 has a five-speed Spicer gearbox driving through a two-speed transfer box with locking differential.
Versions for the Army will include the GS Cargo, ambulance, recovery and command vehicles — 1100x16.00 tyres can be fitted for operation over soft terrain.
