Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

retreading process—

will give you all the mileage and all the performance of a new tyre at little more than half new tyre cost

EXPERT APPRAISAL

Nothing of what follows would carry very much conviction if it weren't backed by genuine and qualified experience. In fact, Tyresoles are responsible for a substantial percentage of the four million retreads that go back into service each year throughout the United Kingdom. The most critical users rely on them, from major world airlines —the safety and performance standards of which are the highest in the world — to commercial transport owners. Some of the nation's biggest vehicle fleets run on Tyresoles — as do many of the smaller ones. Even the G.P.O. uses them. Not to mention any number of wellknown rally drivers.

CRITICAL SCRUTINY

In certain important respects the tyre illustrated here is still a good tyre. It has proved itself in actual road usage and although the tread is worn, the casing is sound. if it has no faults it will be acceptable for retreading by the unique Tyresoles process. But the scrutiny will be very critical.

UNIQUE PROCESS

Each tyre accepted by Tyresoles receives 'individual tailoring' treatment. It is inspected, precision buffed and accurately measured. Then the new tread rubber is carefully applied before being vulcanised by Tyresoles' patented process. This applies heat to the new rubber only —the only place where it is needed, and this is where Tyresoles differ most from ordinary retreads You see, in 'ordinary' retreads the complete tyre would be totally enclosed in a mould and subjected to heat for a fairly long period. 'Re-cooking' would occur and it is this which can lead to premature failure in service under heavy loads, or casing stresses. The Tyresoles process completely eliminates this risk.

GUARANTEE

Suitable, smooth tyres whrch are retreaded by Tyresoles are guaranteed to equal the performance of a new tyre on the same vehicle under the same conditions. The tread rubber is made for Tyresoles by the new tyre manufacturers and is equal in every way to the rubber used in new tyres,

HOW MUCH SHOULD RETREADS COST?

All kinds of retreads are available, but any that are unbranded should not be considered. They may be cheap but there is no guaran'tee that they will prove reliable in service.

It's a fact that Tyresoles, initially, cost a little more than ordinary retreads—and for very good reasons. They cost more to produce with individual attention and craftsmanship to the highest standards of excellence that permit no compromise. And with performance guaranteed as good as new you can rely on Tyresoles to give you the lowest cost per tyre mile. Ask any fleet owner who uses them.

TYRE MAINTENANCE SERVICE
