Ford Transit, are being recalled because of concern about the vehicle's steering system.
A bolt which locates a clamp in the system has been found in some cases to lose its torque setting, leading to noise and excessive steering play.
Dealers are now contacting owners of the 28,000 long-wheelbase Transits built between early 1986 and May 1987 offering a free check. Short-wheelbase models are not affected.
