Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A new lightweight lift called Up and Under one-tonne taillift has been added to the Ray Smith line-up of folding underbody tail lifts — other new models are expected to follow.

At 300kg, the RS10 U is claimed to be lighter than many comparable lifts, due mainly to its use of a single hydraulic ram rather than two.

A two-button hydraulic control system automatically stows the platform neatly away, once its outer section has been folded over the inner, and both raised vertically.

Once in the stowed position, there is no protrusion to impede dock loading.

In use, the RS10 U has a shallow 150mm heel, that gives a gentle gradient for unloading wheeled pallets.

Chromed hinge pins eliminate greasing, and maintenance is reduced to simply topping up the hydraulic fluid.
