The gas committee of CHESTERFIELD Corporation recommends acceptance of the tender, at £230, of G. Kenning, Ltd., for the supply of a Ford 30-ewt. lorry. The works committee of LEWISHAM Borough Council recommends the purchase of a Pagefield lorry and eight containers for refuse collection. The cost is £2,599.
The public assistance committee of EAST HAM COMO/1111On recommends acceptance of the tender of Mr. W. J. Reynolds, of Ham, for the supply of a van costing £244.
The works committee of CAMBERWELL Borough Council is in favour of buying an S.D. Freighter costing £631, a Karrier combined sprinkler, sweeper and refuse collector, at a cost of £1,036, and, from Afarrable Motors, Ltd., a Chevrolet 30-cwt, tipping lorry at £232.
