Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

iE SPICER Transmission Divion of Dana has recalled several ;11 8010 gearboxes for a modcation to a location washer hich has been moving away Dm its gear.

The only UK vehicle to be lected is Seddon Atkinson's )1 tractive unit (see road test 39) but the 301s being currently eing manufactured are being tted with already modified earboxes.

Spicer has not yet released delft of the problem or indeed of le modification but it is beeyed to involve welding the articular washer into place.

It is understood from perators that Spicer has alaady responded quickly in rectiping the fault on in-service -ansmissions.
