• Associated British Maltsters Ltd and Charles Roberts and Co Ltd of Wakefield have announced jointly that agreement, in principle, has been reached for the acquisition of R. Murfitt Ltd as a going concern by the latter. Charles Roberts. who are builders of road and rail vehicles, intend to continue production at the Wisbech premises of Murfitt.
