Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ON Wednesday, the Appeal Tribunal. announced its decisions on four appeals. Below we give the bare results and will deal, in next week's issue, with some of the points of principle raised.

Messrs. C. Reed and Sons, Bristol, against grant of B licence to Bristol Cooperative Society, Ltd., by Western Licensing Authority. Appeal allowed to extent of reducing from 25 miles to 15 miles, radius of operation for removal of furniture and household goods.

Mr. B. J. S. Wasey, Hermitage (who operates under a B licence), against refusal. of South-Eastern Licensing Authority to grant A licence authoriz

ing him to take over business of IV S. G. Povey. Appeal dismissed.

Gamman and Dicker, Ltd.: Chathai against South-Eastern Licensii Authority's refusal to vary A licence 1 addition of six vehicles to be acquio and one vehicle on hire. Licensii Authority authorized one addition vehicle and retention of hiring alio, ance. Appeal dismissed, wi £13 3s. 4d costs.
