A Road Guide that is Different.

Art and humour combine to place the coloured road plans by Mr. Alfred Taylor in a class by themselves, and the maps prepared by this artist for the Anglo-American Oil Co., Ltd., enjoy great popularity with all classes of road user. "

In addition to the plates, which, incidentally, are in full colour, the book contains a comprehensive guide to the roads of Great Britain and Ireland by Mr. S. P. B. Mais.

Bearing the title " Pictorial Britain and Ireland," the book is published at 8s. 6d. It is beautifully produced, and the author and artist have achieved a 'unique road guide in which useful information is happily blended with art and wit.
