It will be closed from 9pm on iday, January 15 to 4am on Monday, January 18, and between the me hours from Friday, January 22 to Monday, January 25. estbound traffic will be diverted via Gubbins Lane, Squirrels Heath md, and the A147 Southend Arterial Road, while eastbound traffic will be routed via Straight Road, Faringdon Avenue, Ashton Roa and Bampton Road.

A34: Lorries and wide loads should avoid Long Compton Warwickshire as reconstruction work has reduced the width of ti road. This work continues until Christmas.

A45: One lane on both carriageways is closed between the Hz pole turn-off and Heyford interchange on the Ml.

A4: Only one lane open in each direction at Bath Road near Heat! row Airport. #13: The Beckton Road flyover will be closed for regular inspe. tion and maintenance on two Tuesdays in the future betwee 9.30am and 3pm. It will be closed on January 26, and March 9, an traffic will be diverted via slip roads on either side of the elevate section.

A40: Several lane closures on both carriageways of Western Av, nue between Hanger Lane, Ealing, and start of the M40, especial westbound. Delays likely.

M1/M10: Some night time lane closures are planned betwee junctions 8 and 5, from 8pm to 6am weekdays, and 10pm to 8al Saturdays. M2: Only hard shoulder available London-bound from junction (Maidstone/Chatham) to Medway Bridge. Diversion operates v junction 5 (Sittingbourne), A249, M20, and M25. M4: The section between junction 1 (Chiswick roundabout) and (Parkway) arid slip roads at Chiswick may be affected by closun between 9pm and 6am on Mondays to Fridays. Watch for advani warning signs. M11: Severe peak hour delays are expected between junctions and 7, due to lane closures associated with the Mll /M25 Theyd( Bois interchange. Dartford Tunnel: Until the end of February, there will be a 4.: (14ft) width limit in both directions. Operators should obtain clez ance for wide loads from the tunnel offices on Dartford 21222.

Wales and the West

A40: Until the end of January 1982, Fishguard trunk road will closed for sewer repairs.

A303: Expect delays at Horton and Buckland St Mary, in Somers #345/419: Until January 1982, contra-flow traffic will apply on di carriageway for two miles north of junction 15 of M4 (near Sw don). Peak hour delays expected.

A483: Major roadworks on 1.5 mile section at Lianbister, Powys. A469: Gas works causing delays at Coopers Arms, Ystrad Myna in Glamorgan. Last until early December.

A4119: Until December 31, bridge repairs will cause delays Salem Terrace, Llwynypia, Mid Glamorgan.

M5: Traffic is restricted to hard shoulder on both carriagewa between junctions 11 and 12 (Gloucester/Cheltenham).
