A Merryweather combination first-aid • machine, costing £1,820, is to be purchased by GRIMSBY Corporation.
The highways committee of Sunnry County Council has accepted the tender of Messrs. T. C. Jones for a 2i-ton petrol roller at £193.
The electricity committee of SALFORD Corporation is in favour of the purchase, at £1,000, of a Thornycroft 6-ton lorry with tipping body.

Tenders have to be delivered not later than September 16th. Further particulars of the council's requirements can be obtained from the superintendent of the brigade, Central Fire Station, Tottenham, London, N.15. A 30-cwt. tipping lorry is to be bought for the surveyor's department of HEREFORD Town Council.
