PROCEDURES have bee simplified for County Counci in preparing transport policii and programmes for submi sion to the Department Transport.
Transport Minister Norm Fowler has announced that 1 has "advised County Counci in preparing their submissiot this year simply to updai their existing programm( wherever possible".
The amount of financial ar statistical information that t.1 Councils need to supply been reduced — the number forms to be completed lu been cut from 21 to six.
