HAULAGE APPLICATIONS
TWO fairly substantial contract A to B licence switches have been notified this week. In the Metropolitan Area, S. Deards and Co., of Knebworth (Herts), wish to vary an existing B licence by the addition of 10 tippers for the use of one named customer and certain unspecified subsidiaries. In the Yorkshire Area, Queensbury haulier Hengpoint (Haulage) Ltd., has applied for a new B licence to operate eight vehicles for the carriage of road and building materials and coal and coke as required.
