The annual meeting of the Leeds and district section of the Institute of Transport was held at Leeds a few days ago, when Mr. E. B. Hutchinson presided. Mr. D. Gracie, honorary secretary, presented the annual report, which showed that there had been six meetings during the winter session. He mentioned that particular attenton was being given, to the subject of providing lectures for members resident in outlying areas such as Hull and Sheffield. The financial statement was presented by the honorary treasurer, Mr. W. Metcalfe, and adopted.
