Hansen, 35, replaces Paul Brunning as MD at the UK producer and joins the company from fellow Paccar company Peterbilt where he held a number of engineering and marketing roles. Brunning takes the vacant position of sales and marketing director at Foden.
Foden, the junior partner in Paccar's European operations, has a history of taking ex-Peterbilt men as MD and has a reputation for being Paccar's management training school in Europe.
Danish-born Hansen joins a long list of executives to take over the Sandbach company, including current Paccar CEO Mark Piggot.
