Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

SWIRE EPD has placed contracts for the construction of a new £1m Aberdeen container operations base.

It will be on a three-acre site at Sauter Head Road, Altens, and will comprise 9,000sq ft of offices, a repair and fabrication shop, and two acres of concrete hard-standing incorporating a tank-cleaning area. The development is due for completion next April.

Swire EPD has about 70 per cent of the specialist offshore containers and tanks market in the UK continental shelf area which it supplies from bases in Aberdeen, Peterhead and Lerwick. It proposes to establish another base in Yarmouth.

The company belongs to the international John Swire Group whose other UK oilfield service interests include Seaforth Maritime, Stirling Shipping and Oceanroutes Imcos.
