Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

When hostages from the hijacked VC-10 arrived at Heathrow, one man who had been in the thick of' things arrived with them. Bill Fitzsimmons, the ERF fleet engineer. who had been servicing the 50 vehicles operated by Jordan Resources Ltd, was home. Bill returned to Jordan only recently and was due to spend another 18 months there. However, when things began to warm up he was recalled—but not before becoming involved in some of the excitement.

The phosphate mine at Ruseifa is adjacent to a Palestinian commando camp and, on the other side, there is a Jordanian army establishment, so that to get to the workshop each day from his home in Amman, Bill had to pass one or other of the warring factions. His choice was made easy when he learned that two of his workshop staff were members of the guerilla movement. They became Bill's permanent escort.

The ERF man intends to return to complete the contract as soon as things have settled down. Whenever that may be.
