Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The British Standards Institution has recently issued its annual report with which is incorporated an indexed list of British standard specifications. The report on the activities of the three divisions—engineering, building and chemical—makes interesting reading, and gives an idea of the extent of the valuable work voluntarily carried out by the Institution's 600 technical committees.

The indexed list, which covers 40 pages, includes both a numerical list and a complete subject index of British standard specifications which should be found of much value in drawing offices, in contracts departments of public authorities, as well as in engineering

departments. Copies -of the publication can be obtained from the Institution (publications department), 28, Victoria Street, London, S.W.1, price is. 2d. post free.
