• Bingley-based Wilson Truck Services has sold 40 more of its 12.6m TIR tilt trailers to West German haulier Autocontex, bringing the total supplied so far to 75.
Built on RO-R parabolicsprung axles for 28-tonne operation, the trailers have 127mm necks rated at 14.2 tonnes.
Autocontex, which also has a depot in Felixstowe, specified WTS's loadbearing tailboards and side protection boards for ferry use.
