Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• CAV's replacement starter and alternator scheme for British vehicles has been extended to cover Scania and Volvo vehicles and Cummins NH 180 and 220 engines.

The starters are supplied as direct, bolt-on replacements. The CA45 starter for Scania is fitted with a type 2ST relay to overcome possible problems of volt-drop.

CAV plans to extend its replacement scheme to include alternators for Swedish-built vehicles.

CAV is also offering for the first time injectors to replace the Italian OMAP type fitted to Perkins V8.510 engines.
