ALTHOUGH this company specializes in AA factory machines for continuous production work, it does produce a 14 in. bench-mounted disc sander particularly suitable for use in bodyshops. The machine is driven by a 1 h.p. totally enclosed motor which can be provided with voltages to customers' requirements, and which is continuously rated at 1,400 r.p.m. Its spindle is mounted on ball bearings.
A work table measuring 18 in. square can be inclined to provide required angles to the wheel face. The table is so designed that the leading edge is maintained at a constant distance from the wheel irrespective of the angle at which it is set. A calibrated protractor is incorporated in the table, making accurate angles easily obtained by unskilled operators.
