EDINBURGH heat of the CMLDoY competition produced a mixed bag of results with no one employer dominating the results. Overall winner was T, Kerr.

Class A: A, Millar, Scottish and Newcastle Breweries, 61 penalties; Class B: R. Rutherford, Shell UK, 68; Class C: H. Littlejohn, BOC, 39; Class D: J. Briggs, Scottish and Newcastle Breweries, 38; Class E: S. MacFarlane, Tennent Caledonian Bros, 118.

Class F: A. MacLaghlan, Esso UK, 61; Class G: J. Tierney, Road Services (Forth), 40; Class H: T. Kerr, Esso UK, 49.

Leicester

BRITISH Road Services dominated the Leicester heat of the CMLDoY contest winning 15 trophies as against 12 last year out of 20 possible awards. Overall winner was T. Sliney.

Winners were: Class A: P. Daffern, Eastern BRS, 29 penalties; Class B: M. Meason, Crawfoot Carriers, 68, Class C: T. Sliney, Eastern BRS, 36; Class D: R. Walsh, Eastern BRS, 38; Class E: A. Cook, Eastern BRS, 38.

Class F: M. Barker, Ease, 36; Class G: W. Young, Eastern BRS, 22; Class H: P. Birchall, Eastern BRS, 35.

Kent

OVERALL winner in the Kent heat of the CMLDoY contest,. E. G. Foreman also swept the board with the awards for the highest placed artic driver and the best road route driver.

Winners were : Class A: M. Foster, South Eastern Newspapers, 134; Class B: P. A. Smith, Ministry of Defence, 75; Class C: D. Lovelock, ITT Consumer Products, 82; Class D: R. W. Oakley, Cadbury Schweppes, 51.
